Labor Day Weekend Awaits

Good morning. Premarket trading has been quiet, but with a negative bias. Disappointment due to Dell's earnings report last night and higher oil prices have not helped including declines in both personal income and spending while the core PCE price index gained.

Premarket gainers: TMA, PETM, JRJC, LDK, PMI, ROYL, AFFX, NI, SEED, BTM, DISCA, WM, FTO, & TLM.

Premarket losers: LAVA, DELL, FUJI, SIGM, FRPT, BEAT, TOL, DSL, OVTI, WIND, UAUA, COMV, NOK, WIND, & CUK.

Later this morning we have the Chicago purchasing managers' index at 9:45 and consumer sentiment at 10:AM.

Without much doubt, most expect today to see the lowest trading volume of the year before the long Labor Day weekend. Have a great Friday!
