Life Comes At You Fast

Just three short weeks ago, we had no indication that we'd be making this move so we're a little unprepared to say the least. You know the commercials where they say "life comes at you fast." Well, that has been our motto.
As it stands now and, if all goes well, we're set to move the final week of July and take possession of our new home in the first week of August. (Nothing ever goes that smoothly, but that is at least the plan.) Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be packing, finishing repairs to and "hopefully" selling our home along with visiting with as many friends and family before we move. All of which will become more than a part-time job especially considering that my wife has to defend her thesis in Madrid, Spain between July 15th and July 26th. In short, the move, packing, selling, etc. is pretty much up to me which is a heavy burden to shoulder along with everything else. It is little wonder why I'm currently scoring above 300 on the Holmes-Rahe Scale!
Stress, lack of focus and attention, etc. are not conducive for successful trading (or much else) so I've made the decision to significantly trim down my work load over the next month or so until the transition is behind us. During this time, I will be writing fewer and more infrequent posts. But, I'll return to the normal routine as soon as possible. With fingers crossed, things should be back to normal (at least from your perspective) by the end of August if not before.
