Stock Screen Machine: June Data

It is time for a monthly performance checkup for my stock screen machine. If you had purchased every stock within every screen and filter at the closing price on May 30th and held through today's close, here is how you would have done:

Once again, the filters are doing their job by offering significant outperformance with fewer stocks and a nice distribution of winners to losers. In addition, the losing popularity once again surfaces as a good sell signal in contrast to what we saw last month. Within my favorite stock screens, both the Good Minds Think Alike and Cheapo Growth outperformed. However, all of my screens and filters outperformed the S&P 500 by a wide margin.

When all things are considered, my stock screen machine is doing ok especially as some call this the worst June since the Great Depression.
