#1 Stock Picks From Members

Beyond the jobs report (and subsequent market reaction), today is a relatively important day for members of this website. Every quarter I hold a stock picking contest in which the membership takes time to share their favorite investment idea for the next quarter. Yesterday marked the final tracking day for the first contest and two winners, who picked the same stock, were declared winners this morning.

More interesting, both members offered insight to how they picked the best performing stock - TBS International (TBSI) (Up +84% since June 7th) and other insights to how they approach the market. Later today I'll also update a stock screen based on members' top picks for the rest of the year which has proven valuable in the past.

Although I don't promote the members' only website very often (I know how annoying that can be if you just want the free stuff and no more), I do think those who read the free area should at least know what is going on at the members' only website from time to time. A lot of great stuff can be found there these days and many have told me that I need to do a better job of letting others know.
