Lots Of Noise

Good morning. Investors face a plethora of talking points from retail sales reports, some earnings, more M&A, initial jobs claims, the trade gap, and rising oil prices. Overall, the reaction has been fairly upbeat with premarket futures indicating a positive start to the trading day.

Stocks showing significant buy interest so far include the following: SIFY, PGIC, CENX, AL, FCSX, ROST, REDF, SWIM, FONR, RIO, HOTT, HOKU, FCX, LOCM, ASYS, VOLV, ARIA, PSUN, EMC, BONT, SMSI, METH, CKSW, VSCN, PCU, and IMMR. Stocks under pressure are SBEI, ENDP, FLOW, IMCL, HIBB, WFMI, RFMD, and DNDN.

While there are a number of headlines in play, the key focus will remain on the market itself and, more importantly, its reaction to earnings. Everything else is just noise. Have a good day out there!
