StockScouter Filter
Upon a members' suggestion, I decided to filter all of the stocks currently found within the stock screen machine through the popular StockScouter ranking system. With 321 stocks it took some time since you have to do it one stock at a time through their search engine but at least you can do it for free.
To make your research easier, I have separated the top two highest rankings (i.e. stocks that have received a 9 or 10 rating). In total, there were 25 stocks that earned a coveted 10 rating (members can see the list here) and 46 stocks that earned a 9 rating. Looking over the sub-industry groups represented, it is easy to see where StockScouter has a positive bias.
I will be tracking both as separate portfolios and will later provide an update to whether StockScouter used in a filter this way is something useful.
