My Perfect Foursome

Earlier this afternoon a reader asked me the following question: "Hey Kirk, I know you love golf. So, here's my question! If you had the perfect foursome, who would be in it?"

When anyone asks me that favorite golfer question, my answer is always the same. If I could play golf with anyone, it would be with my late father. In fact, eight years ago this very day (June 22nd) my father passed away from a very long battle with diabetes. So, ironically, this question arrived at a time when thoughts and memories of him fill my mind.

Soon after I started playing golf in high school, I convinced my father to give it a try and we both fell in love with the game. Golf time was our special time. We would compete fiercely ($1 a hole was our favorite pastime) and there simply isn't a time on the golf course where I don't think fondly of those precious times.

So, this weekend, go out do something with those who you love the most, whether it be on the golf course or doing something you both love to do. Unlike the market, those opportunities have a way of disappearing before you know it. Don't let it pass you by.
