Winning Streak

Good morning. Investors are sifting through another batch of earnings reports from very well-known companies (see IBM, YHOO, MOT, JPM) and with their blackberrys on the fritz, premarket futures are indicating a weak open. Overseas markets were mixed in Asia and weaker in Europe and the only report scheduled for today is the weekly EIA petroleum status at 10:30AM.

Stocks moving higher ahead of the open are CPHD, INGN, LLTC, MXIM, ASML, CTICD, SMDI, APH, ZVUE, TONS, NSTK, MNST, DNDN, INTC, CEGE, SIRF, EMRK, PALM, and JSDA. Stocks trading lower are NFLX, YHOO, MOCO, INSW, ESLR, MAMA, RIMM, JASO, and DELL.

With the Dow's incredible winning streak of 13 advances in 14 trading sessions, it isn't a stretch of imagination to expect we'll see at least some consolidation after tax day as profits are taken and repositioned. Have a good day!
