Positive Tone
Good morning. A positive tone is seen this morning amid falling oil prices and strength in overseas markets. Expectations that the Iran captive situation will be resolved peacefully along with a sense that worldwide M&A activity will continue are primary drivers of the early optimism.
Stocks trading notably higher in premarket include LEND, ESLR, LWSN, GOAM, THRX, RPRX, GROW, ASTI, CMGI, BRLC, BLDP, JSDA, DNDN, MRVL, BRCM, PFSW, ONT, and BRCD. Stocks under selling pressure are LGND, MERX, TASR, FCEL, GERN, and ACGY.
Choppy trading is expected for the rest of the week which is why if they can get something started on the upside today we could see some relatively attractive short-term trades. A report on pending home sales at 10:AM is the only "unknown" for the trading day. Have a good one!
