Topping Out Or Consolidating?

Another sideways trading day. We had some inconsequential noise to deal with today and the market held firm.

Are we topping out or consolidating? I don't know, but I will say this - it has been unwise to not give the bulls the benefit of the doubt. At least in my view, you have to continue to pick your spots and be ready to exit when, not if, the bulls eventually give up the ghost. At what point that will be is anybody's best guess, but I, for one, am encouraged by today and yesterday's consolidation following last week's surge.
