Relief Rally
As bleak as things started to look, today's relief rally certainly helped restore some confidence. Of course, in an options expiration week, you have to be prepared for just about anything.

Buying interest was focused on areas that Wall Street thinks will see additional merger and acquisition activity (miners and basic materials). How long they can rest on this M&A trade is unknown, but the bulls continue to show up when they need to.
Tomorrow we'll see if Bernanke can act like cupid and help the market build further on today's gains. See you in the morning.
