Back-And-Forth

You know you're in a bull market when even the down days don't feel so bad.

Stock Market

In what was very much a back-and-forth trading day, the small caps, techs, precious metals, machinery, and basic materials were the top performers. Even a hotter than expected CPI didn't seem to bring out much selling interest. Like before, even the bears can't find enough muster to go short. Instead, they just keep buying precious metals stocks (see the GLD).

For me, it was a day to take profits off the table and a step back to reevaluate. Always a good thing to do from time to time, especially when things have been this good for so long. As always, I hope things are going well for you. I'll be back tomorrow with some good stuff to share. See you then!
