Good, Bad, & Ugly Earnings

11_24Good morning. We're in the heart of earnings season and investors are focused on the good, bad, and ugly quarterly earnings reports. Overall, it doesn't appear the market is very inspired by what they're seeing but the true tell will come after the opening bell.

Today's notable gainers in premarket trading are BTJ, NVAX, NICH, HOKU, NBIX, NENG, PEIX, VPHM, REDF, STKL, CHL, IIP, HAWK, SIGM, TIN, MSPD, XNN, NXXI, and GMST. Premarket decliners are WERN, NDAQ, ALU, MCHP, TLAB, FDRY, JNPR, AAPL, UIS, and IFIN.

Besides earnings, traders will be watching the bounce in oil prices (the energy trade will continue to remain in the limelight) along with the delayed release of the Leading Indicators report and the State Street Investor Confidence Index at 10:AM. Following yesterday's decline, we'll see if the bulls have enough power to gain back some respect. Trade well!
