Durable Orders & Earnings
Good morning. Along with a number of earnings reports from well-known companies (MSFT, CAT, HAL, FO, AMGN), the market seems to like the report on durable orders which were up +3.1%. At 10:AM we have another report on the housing market with the release of the new home sales.
Upside leaders in premarket trading are VPRT, WFR, VSEA, COLM, MRVC, NOVN, ATVI, IMCL, OPLK, NTGR, BRLC, KOSN, JNPR, MSFT, and BOBJ. Notable downside movers are INFA, BEBE, SYNA, OSIR, NTRI, SWKS, AMGN, PMCS, CNXT, KALU, CDWC, SHPGY, and CHL.
Bond yields, energy prices, home sales data, and overall technical action of the market itself will be in focus. And for good or for ill, how Microsoft (MSFT) trades following its report will also be closely monitored. Have a great Friday!
