More Data Coming Next Week

The markets managed a strong close to the trading week amid lackluster trading.

For the week, the Dow rose +1%, the Nasdaq advanced +2.5% and the S&P 500 gained +1.2%. We have lot more data due out next week about the inflation, the consumer, energy prices, and the housing market. To be sure, it will be nice to think about other things than the mess in Iraq and politics.

As always, I hope you had a great week.
