Lots Of Data Ahead
Good morning. Following last week's mixed market, premarket futures have a slight negative bias this morning. Concerns over retail sales, the dollar, higher oil prices, and overbought conditions are in play. International markets were mixed.
Premarket gainers are PNTR, SEED, LMRA, HOFF, RMBS, ZVUE, SIMO, SHFL, ATRS, ATEA, ENER, SWFT, AUDC, IDIX, and NVAX. Premarket losers are SORL, XING, QGEN, XMSR, EFUT, SNMX, VRTX, SPPI, VCLK, and ASMI.
We had little economic data last week to contemplate, but this week we'll have more data to chew on starting with tomorrow's reports on durable goods, retail sales, consumer confidence, and existing home sales. Obviously, end-of-the-month window dressing and year-end-positioning will also be key factors going forward. Let's make it a great week!
