Good News Again

Trafficlight_3Good morning. Premarket futures are up as economic data released this morning indicates that inflation is in check and the housing market is stronger than expected. Earnings reports are also coming in above expectations.

Stocks moving up this morning include ILMN, SNTS, HWAY, TTWO, SIGA, IBM, PEIX, RVBD, LINTA, UAUA, PARL, NITE, IDEV, SONE, JBLU, MRVL, ACOR, INTC, ARNA, ANDW, BRCM, and YHOO. Stocks under heavy sell pressure are APOL, ENDP, ASML, LLTC, LMRA, CDWC, NVLS, TEVA, CECO, CYMI, SWKS, and LVLT.

Beyond the economic data this morning, I'll be watching how the market specifically reacts to both good and bad earnings news. So far, I'm pleased with what I'm seeing. Overall, the bulls continue to have the headlines on their side and even when they don't, the pullbacks have been modest at best. Sometimes, as the saying goes, the most bullish thing the market can do is to keep going up and this one certainly has done exactly that.

Trade well out there today!
