Goodbye 3Q

While the bulls lost today's battle, they certainly won the week as well as the quarter.

A late-day reversal in oil prices and last-minute rebalancing didn't help the market to close on a strong note. Yet, I can't say the bulls should be complaining. While the press didn't get their "Dow at new highs" headline, I'm sure they'll give it another shot soon enough.

I hope the quarter treated you well, and if it didn't, don't let it get the best of you. We have 13 more trading weeks left of 2006. I'm sure Mr. Market has a few surprises and opportunities up his sleeve. See you next week!
