Time To Get Back To Work

Good morning. Premarket futures are up as investors take their cue from solid earnings from two big names in tech - Apple Computer (AAPL) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Simply put, these two reports confirm the current bull mode mentality - that the economy is doing pretty well and you've got to be long tech.

In just a few minutes we'll be hit with a ton of economic data (June CPI, retail sales, initial claims). Also oil is down a little even though Hurricane Emily is on the way. Beyond watching the tape, I've got a ton of conference calls to listen to and earnings reports to sift through. It's time to get back to work!
