Shake & Bake

I'm back to cash as I'm trying my best to do the old fashioned shake and bake by buying and selling two of the best runners today - GIGA & ELTK . Those of you who day-trade successfully for a living win my respect as this type of trading is just too stressful. At the moment, my stress level is about a 12, on a scale between 1 to 10. As such, I'm taking the rest of the day off in order to take a quick siesta. Why are these 4-day working weeks always so challenging?

From what I can see, there are numerous crosscurrents in play that nearly everyone is having difficulty with coping with. The weakness in oil and energy, the strong dollar, & notable strength in chips & airlines is making this tape one difficult beast to tame. Couple that with a very severely oversold market, and even those who are bearish are taking some profits off the table. While market dynamics remain negative, it feels like everyone who wanted to dump, has already done so, even though I'm sure there are plenty who remain in denial.

Before winding down, I also wanted to let you know that I had a number of random thoughts & readings to post earlier today, but the computer literally ate my homework and they got vaporized. (Thank you Bill Gates!) I'll try to make it up to you tomorrow, after I get some much needed rest. Have a good afternoon!
