Hazards of Currency Reserves
I'm no expert about currency issues, although I certainly understand that some red flags concerning the falling dollar are present. In today's Wall Street Journal, Steve Barrow, who is the chief currency strategist at Bear Stearns, said that rise in currency reserves "suggests that the world is on the verge of boom-and-bust cycles that could exceed anything we have seen before."
