Bulls Press The Panic Sell Button
After Alan Greenspan said he was no longer comfortable with the "considerable period" phrase, the bulls took a major gulp and pressed the panic sell button. After all, wasn't it only just a few days ago that dear old Alan said he saw no major change on the horizon? I guess he has the right to change his mind. It does blow a hole through the theory "we're fine until election time" that I continue to hear.
Nevertheless, as I predicted in last week's newsletter, the market is showing some tremendous volatility this week. A sign of things to come, I'm afraid, which won't make anything easier unless you like a nice dose of trading whiplash.
